About the Stainless Steel used in Aero Pack recovery hardware:

304 is a chromium and nickel austenitic stainless steel with high strength and good corrosion resistance.

316 is also an austenitic stainless steel with molybdenum added to give it excellent corrosion resistance, especially to sulphurous acids. It will resist scaling at temperatures up to 1600 F.

Our stainless hardware is chemically cleaned and polished.

WLL (Working Load Limit): You will see this rating vary from different suppliers. This depends on the breaking strength ratio used in the rating. Therefore a higher WLL doesn`t always mean it has a higher breaking strength. The items we stock have a conservative WLL of at least 4 to 1 or higher. This means that if an item is rated with a WLL of 1000lbs the breaking strength is at least 4000lbs or higher. The WLL for each item is listed in the webstore in each item description.
